The original French porcelain tableware depicts a noble couple in festive clothes from the eighteenth century. It is a romantic scene and the man and woman have no idea that in 1789 the French Revolution would break out, which meant the end of their lives.
On the plates and tureen, I sketched the Ukrainians’ struggle for freedom after the Russian invasion in copper oxide and then fired it. As a result, the lines have flowed into each other, which gives a blurry effect: major events leave behind a fog of memories.
This battle means a major disruption in geopolitical relations and our future.
